Wawa RV Resort & Campground is a getting back to nature, rustic, family owned & operated campground with the amenities to please mostly everyone, accommodating both big rigs & tenters. Conveniently just off Hwy 17.
Spend time floating, fishing or simply enjoying yourself on the Magpie River, hike the many trails located throughout the campground, hang out at the pool, & spend an evening sitting by the campfire with family & friends.

We love our iconic goose and the story behind it. Not to mention, it is one of the most photographed landmarks in North America. But, we also want to share with you all of the natural beauty that surrounds us! From pristine white sand beaches, to beautiful waterfalls & stunning hikes through the Boreal forest. We could go on, but you’ll just have to come see for yourself!
Wawa, Ontario is located just 225 km north of Sault Ste. Marie along the Trans Canada Highway. It’s worth a trip to Wawa for anyone who wants to experience the true beauty that Northern Ontario has to offer. The drive between Sault Ste. Marie and Wawa is considered one of the top-ten drives in Canada, meandering along the breathtaking shoreline of Lake Superior.
Located only 10 minutes south of Wawa, Scenic High Falls is a must stop.
Our community of Wawa has a great selection of local restaurants, shops and a grocery store. Take a walk along Wawa Beach, go fishing, chase waterfalls, explore a hiking trail or catch a Goose nest Market to support local makers, bakers, growers and creators!
